Housing 2016 is Europe’s largest housing-focused event. 2015 saw record numbers of delegates and visitors through its doors and now with the CIH celebrating its centenary year, 2016 is set to be even bigger. It’s going to be a huge year for housing.
Housing 2016 promises to bring you more than 300 of the sector’s leading providers, partners and suppliers with expert speakers from inside and outside of housing.
Housing professionals from all corners of the industry will gather in Manchester to discuss how the sector deals with affordable housing rent reduction, the extension of right to buy and deregulation- and what does the future holds, just to name a few of the hot topics at this year’s conference.
New for 2016 will be the Housing Management Theatre, where delegates will focus on the more practical side of key issues facing the sector such as income management, resident involvement and estate regeneration.
2016 also sees the launch of a new partnership with the CPD Certification Service which means all sessions at Housing will be CPD certified, so everyone who attends the sessions can use the hours as part of their CPD requirement.
Returning this year is the dedicated Health, Social Care and Housing Conference, which will be running alongside the main event, with its own programme focusing on solutions around the integration of health and housing.
In addition to the conference, the exhibition promises to be busier than ever, packed with networking opportunities and features including:
- Ideas Exchange – a series of free seminars for all exhibition visitors
- #thetreehouse16 – the official housing fringe – a place to challenge views and perceptions, with a programme of events that is free to attend for all conference delegates and exhibition visitors
- Delegate of the Future – giving young professionals who have never attended the conference before the opportunity to come along for free on Thursday 30th June.
