Floodex, the UK’s leading exhibition and conference for flood risk management, flood protection and resilience, returns to ExCeL London on 25–26 November 2026, bringing together flood professionals, catchment & waterways management, local authorities, infrastructure owners, engineers, consultants, contractors, manufacturers and emergency planning specialists.
As the UK faces increasing pressure from extreme rainfall, surface water flooding and the need to adapt infrastructure to a changing climate, Floodex provides a dedicated forum for the industry to examine the challenges ahead and explore practical solutions.

The agenda for Glazing Summit 2026 has officially been unveiled, featuring new breakout sessions, a Bank of England economic update and a dedicated Supply Chain Debate, as the sector's leading conference returns to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Thursday 8 October.

Built around the principle of "for the industry, by the industry", this year's programme has been developed through extensive consultation with glazing professionals, combining independent market research with direct input from the Glazing Summit Steering Committee. The UK’s civil engineering and infrastructure community will gather at ExCeL London on 26–27 November 2025 for the National Civils Show, a major new event uniting contractors, consultants, suppliers, and policymakers to explore the future of Britain’s infrastructure.

Held at the Coventry Building Society Arena, the Glazing Summit brought together leaders from across the fenestration sector, with Howard joining the ‘Skills: Apprentices in Action’ panel alongside Ultraframe’s Andrew Thompson and GGF’s John Mannell. The discussion focused on apprenticeships, attracting new talent, and increasing diversity across the industry.

Now into its sixth year, the event has cemented itself a must-attend for senior leaders within the UK fenestration industry, featuring a day of high-level industry debate and providing unrivalled networking opportunities for over 400 delegates.

National Social Housing Safety and Compliance Week  is calling for the whole social housing supply chain to unite behind ‘Together for Safety’, a new movement to improve resident safety.

The Week, spearheaded by the Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals (ASCP), is an annual event dedicated to shining a spotlight on safety and compliance at an operational, strategic, and cultural level. It also supports Dame Judith Hackitt’s calls to act faster and address safety cultural issues in the sector. And with the advent of The Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, the ASCP believes that the Week also has a role in helping to redefine the standards of social housing in the UK. Now in its third year, the campaign will launch a new movement ‘Together for Safety’. This movement recognises that no one person or department, or organisation can deliver safe homes for residents – it involves the whole supply chain coming together.
