Sigma Capital strengthens London team with new appointments

Residential development and urban regeneration company, Sigma Capital Group plc, has expanded its London team with two new recruits, showcasing its continuous success and growth. This growth derives from the launch of Simple Life plc and the subsequent expansion of The PRS REIT’s portfolio of over 1,000 homes, with another 3,000 underway.

Launched by Sigma Capital Group plc in December 2016, Simple Life is the sole landlord responsible for Sigma and The PRS REIT plc’s rental property portfolios. Following the launch of The PRS REIT in 2017, Simple Life is now one of the leading brands for family-orientated PRS housing in England. 

Jack Barnet joined the company as development manager, alongside Kiarash Shahandeh who has joined as project manager.

Jack said: “After three years working in the investment and development market in London and the south, I am delighted to have joined Sigma’s London team to assist in the development of its unique PRS model in the south and extend that model to new regions.”

Kiarash said: “I’m proud to be working as a project manager at Sigma. I was attracted to the company and this great opportunity to be part of a winning team with an impressive track record.

“I’m really looking forward playing a part in the company’s future success.”

Continuing the growth of the business in the North West, Sigma’s Manchester office has also benefitted from the arrival of Alec Maullin, who has been appointed as project manager.

Alec, who will be overseeing delivery of the build programmes in the North, said: “For me, this as a great opportunity to work for a developer that specialises in the regeneration of the areas that it operates in.

“I was impressed with company’s ethos, growth and track record and I’m delighted to be part of a team focused on delivering high-quality PRS housing on a large scale.”
