This #CleanAirDay is highlighting that cars and vans are the biggest source of toxic chemicals in our air, according to official data and that we should call on our next government to clean it up. Clean Air Day is led by environmental charity Global Action Plan and is the UK’s largest campaign on air pollution. Ventilation industry leader Vent-Axia is celebrating Global Recycling Day, which takes place on 18 March 2024. This year the theme for Global Recycling Day is ‘Recycling Heroes’. Vent-Axia is committed to reducing its environmental impact and has set clear sustainability targets including that 90% of the plastic it uses in its own manufacturing to be from recycled sources by the end of FY2025. Currently this figure is already at 83% and the company is on track to hit the 90% figure. Vent-Axia has achieved this by leading the way in the ventilation sector with a market transformation to manufacturing from recycled material to improve indoor air sustainably.

Leading ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia welcomes the second World Ventilation Day, #WorldVentil8Day, a day dedicated to recognising and promoting the importance of ventilation and indoor air quality (IAQ). Taking place on Wednesday 8th November 2023, this year’s theme is Breathe Better, Live Better. The day aims to raise awareness of the importance of ventilation as a crucial part of enabling health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on mould mitigation and the vital importance of good IAQ vital for a healthy living environment.

Airtech, the condensation, mould and radon specialists, is once again supporting UK Radon Awareness Week (6 - 12 November 2023) by helping raise awareness of the gas. Run by the UK Radon Association, this year’s UK Radon Awareness Week is aiming to ensure members of the public have a greater awareness and understanding of radon and the health risks it poses. Leading ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia has welcomed the publication of the amended PAS 2035/2030:2023 which now aligns with Approved Document F (Means of Ventilation) of the Building Regulations. The British Standards Institution (BSI) has published an updated PAS 2035/2030:2023 document in light of the urgent need to decarbonise 27 million UK homes, the document describes how to conduct retrofits on existing dwellings to improve their energy efficiency. PAS 2035/2030:2023 sets out best practice in providing ‘whole house’ retrofits for domestic dwellings from project inception to handover and evaluation.
